By helping at an event, volunteers play a vital role in supporting Sertoma Star Services’ fundraising efforts. We welcome both individuals and group volunteers. Your support helps us provide programs and services for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and those living with mental illness.
We partner with many great organizations to fulfill their philanthropy goals. Companies, service clubs, schools, and other organizations are invited to participate with Sertoma Star Services in a variety of event activities.

FIRST LOOK FOR CHARITY
First Look for Charity: Sertoma Star Services is one of 18 organizations benefiting from this premier charity event. Guests are among the first to explore the annual Chicago Auto Show, while enjoying an elegant evening with food, beverages, and live bands.
PACK-UP
Spring we head down to McCormick Place to pack up donated items for our Super Sale fundraiser. Great for large groups! We need about 150 volunteers each year.
SUPER SALE
Our largest fundraiser is held each Spring. We need many volunteers over two weeks to unpack, price, and set up donated tradeshow items for this popular sale.
GOLF OUTING
Join us for a day of golf at one of the best private country clubs in the area, Idlewild Country Club in Flossmoor. Whether golfing, sponsoring, or donating “Fore” the Future, your participation matters!
